Michelle Menzor

“His authority on earth allows us to dare to go to all the nations. His authority in heaven gives us our only hope of success. And His presence with us leaves us no other choice.”

-J. Scott

Michelle's Story

Michelle, a Special Education teacher from Denver, Colorado, has always carried a deep passion for both missions and education. Her journey with Guatemala began in 2014, when she completed her student teaching at the Christian Academy of Guatemala. It was during that formative experience that the Lord broke her heart for those in need, planting a desire in her to one day return and use her gifts to serve the people.

That calling became a reality last year when Michelle took a leave of absence from her teaching job and spent nine months in Guatemala, teaching English to both children and adults. In February 2025, she felt a clear prompting from the Lord to take a bold step of faith—resigning from her position in the U.S. to continue serving full-time in Guatemala.

Michelle is deeply passionate about sustainability and empowering the Guatemalan people through education. But more than anything, she wants them to know that the reason she is there is because of Jesus. Her mission is not only to share her educational skills but also to bring the hope and love of Christ to the communities she serves.

Michelle will be joining Life Guatemala in August 2025 to teach English classes at the Life Center in Pachimulin.
