Our Story:
Founded in 2014 by Robert and Tessa Yeater, Life Guatemala was built on a simple conviction: lasting change happens when spiritual formation and practical support grow together.
Pachimulin is home to 7,000 resilient people, 95% of whom identify as Kaqchikel Mayan. While the region faces challenges like a 50% unemployment rate, we see a community deeply rooted in faith and culture.
While our founders provide the vision, our daily work is led by 15 full-time Guatemalan employees. With an average tenure of seven years, they are the trusted leaders of this mission.
Financial Transparency:
We are a 501c3 donor-funded organization. 96 cents of every dollar goes directly toward our program operations.
